I was sitting on the patio at Jeune et Jolie in Carlsbad on a warm April evening celebrating a dear friend’s birthday. We had an early reservation and we were looking forward to the multi-course menu we were about to enjoy. We settled in with oysters and a delicious sauvignon blanc. It was one of those spring days that hinted at the summer to come: bright, sunny and warm into the early evening. The sun started to dip and we poured another splash of wine, smiling. We were enjoying the company, enjoying the food, and then this beautiful french song came through the speakers. It was just one of those moments that you think, this is it! One of life’s romantic, beautiful, delightful moments that you’ll never forget. This is a playlist inspired by that evening, the moments that you want to live in forever. The days that turn into nights. The wine you enjoy in the violet hour. Under the stars with the people you love, enjoying a delicious dining experience.
