IN THEIR OWN WORDS…

With a degree in Marketing and Studio Art from the University of Notre Dame, I have always had a passion for combining the psychology of people with the beauty of creation. I'm proud to have volunteered over 750 hours with 50+ organizations, which exposed me to people from all walks of life and taught me the Platinum Rule—treat others the way they want to be treated. Studying in Australia and Brazil, traveling to Asia and Europe, and frequently introducing myself to strangers, I've also made it a priority to learn the intricacies of other cultures. I've had the opportunity to work in various roles involving design, marketing, bridal styling, and organizational operations throughout my career; but, the core of my experience has been in the designing and planning of upscale events. From exclusive government meetings at the Library of Congress, 900-person corporate holiday parties, extravagant weddings, and more, I have encountered countless visions, styles, and desires - which I passionately transform into beautifully unique, memorable experiences!

WHERE DO YOU FIND INSPIRATION:

I've always seen beauty through non-traditional means. Where I find inspiration is similar to a child seeing shapes in the cloud—not sought out, but rather, encountered and processed in an imaginative way. I am inspired by the resourceful potential of natural encounters. I am inspired by unknown artists, everyday creations, and the art of transforming the ordinary into the remarkable.

TYPICAL DAY:

Starts with a peaceful greeting from my kitty, Carl and a smoothie. Variety is essential to my core. Working weekdays, I’ll typically box or teach piano in the evenings. On the weekends, I try to find outdoor activities that allow me to absorb ALL the San Diego sunshine!

FAVORITE MEMORY IN THE KITCHEN:

My mom found passion in decorating cakes long before I was born. She would create beautifully crafted pieces for friends' weddings, birthday parties, and other special occasions. Thus, my favorite memory in the kitchen was decorating a cake with her, in my childhood home. She taught me all of her tips and tricks, let me play around with techniques, and it was a wonderful opportunity for us to share in creation together.
