April Mixtape

I love road trips, especially the impromptu ones! You know that as soon as the pedal hits the metal, memories are about to be created. I recently embarked on a roadtrip to Las Vegas accompanying my friend who got the chance to see Taylor Swift on a last minute basis. Not knowing what the day had in store that morning, the decision was made and within hours we had hit the road. She wanted a co-pilot to share the journey to being part of the glory of sixty five thousand Swifties in action. And what's better than music to get the heart pumping and the mind dreaming than a karaoke in the car sing-off?! As the hours ticked by we naturally wandered through the whole gamut of genres. From hip-hop to country to soul to folk and rap (lots and lots of Taylor too), but mostly songs that harked back to good times. This playlist is a snippet of a day that gifted laughs, memories, dancing, and living life for that one day. Even though I was just along for the ride, all the future reminiscing was all worth it. - Juan
