IN HER OWN WORDS:
I graduated with a kinesiology degree and quickly transitioned into planning and marketing large luxury events. Along the way, I taught myself how to build websites and use Adobe Creative Suite to create dynamic marketing materials. I’ve opened event venues, published magazines, sat on panels, hosted celebrity polo matches, and even taught indoor cycling in my spare time. Now, as a freelance brand ambassador for MIHO, I bring my diverse skill set to create content that drives the brand’s mission and engages their audience. I’ve earned a few gold stars along the way, but what I’m most proud of is the time and energy I dedicate to others.
WHAT DOES A TYPICAL DAY LOOK LIKE FOR YOU?
I love to pack it in. Exercise, podcasts, water, coffee, all the playlists, Google spreadsheets, play, sunshine, meaningful relationships and connecting with my community are all necessities.
FAVORITE MEMORY IN THE KITCHEN?
Years ago, my uncle and I took a cooking class in Udaipur, India and returned home with a dozen recipes, spices and gifts for our family. Shortly after we returned, we cooked a beautiful Indian Christmas dinner and asked our family to wear their new scarves and Indian accessories. We decorated the dinner table with colorful linens, marigold flowers, and the yummy dishes that took us all day to make. It was a great way for us to share stories about our trip and really make the holiday a memorable one.
WHERE DO YOU FIND INSPIRATION?
My circle of friends and colleagues, connections, interior design, books, music, poetry + podcasts. Also, people who dedicate their entire lives to a single craft like pottery or sushi rice, and those who create products built to last a generation. Traveling and learning about new cultures and religions. Life, man… It’s rich.
